Installing Temporary Email Signature

How To:

  1. Open the attached word document, click Edit > Select All then Edit > Copy
  2. Access Outlook, select ‘New Email’
  3. In the top toolbar select Signatures > Edit Signatures
  4. Click the ‘+’ icon to add a new signature. This will open a new window.
  5. Delete the information that appears, and select Edit > Paste. Your information should appear exactly as it was in the Word document.
  6. Close the window and select Save. Apply an identifier to this signature such as ‘Temp signature’
  7. This brings you back to the original Signature window. There are a couple of dropdown options. Here you can determine if the signature is used for new messages along with replies and forwards. Typically, we’ll use the signature for all functions. Make your selections and close this window.
  8. To test, create a new email. If the signature appears in the body of the message, you’ve completed this successfully.
